Privacy
FootyTuber is a private studio used by its owner to record and live stream video with invited guests. It is not a public service and has no user accounts.
YouTube and Google account access
The studio's owner can connect their own YouTube channel. When they do, FootyTuber uses that access only to create and end live broadcasts on the channel, set the broadcast's title, description and tags, and read and post messages in the broadcast's live chat.
The sign-in is kept in an encrypted cookie in the owner's browser. It is not stored in a database, shared with anyone, or used for any other purpose. Disconnecting YouTube in the studio, or removing FootyTuber at myaccount.google.com/permissions, ends the access.
Other streaming services
The owner can enter a stream key for another service so a stream is sent there at the same time. Those keys are stored encrypted, used only to send the stream, and removed when the owner deletes the destination in the studio.
Guests
Guests join with a link and a display name. Their camera and microphone are sent to the studio through LiveKit so they can take part, and may appear in the recording or live stream the host makes. FootyTuber does not keep guests' names, video or audio after the session, beyond the recording or stream itself.
Lineups sent in by fans
If you send a lineup through a link you were given, the name you enter and the lineup are stored so the host can show them. Ask the host if you want them removed.
